More About My Soap.....

Updated: Apr 7, 2022

I'm pleased to let you know that The Natural Life Shop in Cranleigh are going to be selling my soaps (as well as their being available via this site). They will be a bit more expensive, but that's so the shop can take their cut and I don't begrudge them that because it's been such a difficult year for everyone.

Making my own soap for a good few years, it's something that I've become quite passionate about. I love making soap to be honest, but I don't like using ingredients that are synthetic. I've been using toiletries and cosmetic products that aren't tested on animals since the 1970s (yes, some were even around then) and even now if I buy toiletries, I go for ones that are organic and without the harmful synthetic ingredients you get in mainstream products. I've also been making a fair few of my own personal care products and all of my household cleaners for years. It's no surprise, therefore, that my soap making works along the same lines.

Buying soap is quite a physical experience as it's smelling it that is one of the most important things. As such, the benefit of selling the soap in a shop is obvious - you can smell them first hand! The soap I make though is also very creamy and won't dry your skin at a time when many are complaining that all the hand washing is doing just that.

Wherever you buy my soap from, I hope that you will enjoy it, knowing that it's been made with love!
